\u4e0b\u53485:30<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u96d9\u983b\u9304\u50cf\u88dd\u7f6e\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u63a2\u8a0e\u5728\u57ce\u5e02\u4e2d\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u9593\u79fb\u52d5\uff0c\u6b63\u5728\u9032\u884c\u7684\u7cfb\u5217\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u500b\u65b0\u5be6\u4f8b\u3002\u65c5\u884c\u8207\u901a\u52e4\u5f80\u5f80\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u96c6\u9ad4\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u79fb\u52d5\u7684\u516c\u5206\u6bcd\u662f\u4e00\u7fa4\u4eba\u4ee5\u540c\u6a23\u7684\u4ea4\u901a\u5de5\u5177\u3001\u5728\u540c\u4e00\u8def\u7dda\u4e0a\u3002\u9019\u500b\u88dd\u7f6e\u6355\u6349\u5230\u51cd\u7d50\u4e86\u6642\u9593\u7684\u5fae\u77ac\uff0c\u4e26\u5275\u9020\u4e00\u500b\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u6c89\u601d\u5982\u4f55\u4fdd\u7559\u53ca\u56de\u60f3\u548c\u79fb\u52d5\u76f8\u95dc\u8a18\u61b6\u7684\u6a5f\u6703\u3002\u5982\u7c73\u6b47\u723e\u00b7\u5fb7\u00b7\u585e\u675c(Michel Josef Bares will present two works: \u00abGoing Shopping\u00bb during the Open<\/p>\n<p>Studio Weekend at Taipei Artist Village (August 8-9), an installation showcasing the<\/p>\n<p>fresh-from-the-press limited edition photo zine \u00abConsumption\u00bb initiated during his stay.<\/p>\n<p>One week later, the exhibition \u00abMovement Series: Approach\u00bb, featuring a 2-channel<\/p>\n<p>video-installation investigating movement within and between cities, will open at Cross<\/p>\n<p>Gallery in Treasure Hill Artist Village (August 16 &#8211; September 14). Details below.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abGoing Shopping\u00bb August 8-9, 2014, 14:00-18:00 Open Studio (302) at Taipei Artist<\/p>\n<p>Village.<\/p>\n<p>The open studio pop-up exhibition showcases the June and July editions a location-<br \/>\nspecific photo zine \u00abConsumption\u00bb in the form of an installation. This project looks at<\/p>\n<p>Taipei through the framework of personal consumer decisions. The decision what to<\/p>\n<p>photograph is directly derived from a prior decision what to buy. The experience of the<\/p>\n<p>city is reverse-engineered through an expense record analysis, providing a new flavor<\/p>\n<p>to psychogeographic methods, which investigate the effects of geographic settings onto<\/p>\n<p>the mood and behavior. Photographs of building facades with storefronts are juxtaposed<\/p>\n<p>with photographs of receipts that provide the entry point into an imaginary narrative.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abMovement Series: Approach\u00bb August 16 \u2013 September 16, 2014, Cross Gallery,<\/p>\n<p>Treasure Hill Artist Village. Opening Reception on August 16 at 5:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The 2-channel video-installation is a new instance of an ongoing series investigating<\/p>\n<p>movement in and between cities. Travel and commutes are often a collective<\/p>\n<p>experience where movement is a common denominator of a group in the same<\/p>\n<p>transport vehicle on the same route. The installation captures micro-moments frozen in<\/p>\n<p>time, creating an opportunity to contemplate how we keep and recall memories related<\/p>\n<p>to movement. As Michel de Certeau states in his book Practice of Everyday Life, \u201ca<\/p>\n<p>space exists when one takes into consideration vectors of direction, velocities, and time<\/p>\n<p>variables.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Josef Bares is an emerging Czech-German media artist and recipient of numerous<\/p>\n<p>awards, including Leinemann Award (2009), Essl Award (2011) and Vienna Insurance<\/p>\n<p>Group Special Invitation (2011). His artworks have been exhibited across continents,<\/p>\n<p>for example Germany, Austria, Russia and USA.
