We explore this issue by three main lines of application: <em>dynamic<\/em> and smart tangible artefacts, <em>multisensory<\/em> virtualization of product experience, <em>wise<\/em> digital interactive experiences and services. The three topics of this year are mainly focused on the exploration of the cognitive and interactive processes activated by design artefacts, in which the technological component \u2013 intended in a broad sense \u00a0&#8211; is employed by the designer as a mediator to enrich and enhance the experience of reality and information at different levels. We aim to discuss possibilities, limits and constraints of designing intriguing experiences with technology-affected artefacts (either tangible, virtual, or intangible), and to explore the balance between aesthetics, ethics, meaning and emotions in design.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Politecnico di Milano will host the conference between 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October 2015, during the worldwide event of EXPO2015, which will take place in the city of Milan.
